Электровозостроительного объединения имени Ким Чон Тхэ (Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex)
Pulgungi 2.16 — a tram model developed by Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Works, which is really a reverse engineered Tatra T6B5. A few bodies were probably transferred to Chongjin sometime in the late 1990s or early 2000s, where some were probably converted to trolleybuses
Article describes the unveiling of new trams on the auspicious February holiday (2.16). This tram is described to have many automated functions, and the route indicator (originally occupying the top of the windscreen in T6B5) was removed so as not to interfere with driving.
