Parramatta Light Rail testing has recently started. Normally 2 brand new 7-module CAF Urbos 100 trams operating along the line without passengers between Carlingford and Tramway Avenue stops. After closure of the T6 Carlingford train line on 5th February 2020, it was already planned to convert it into tram route. Testing is going on very actively. Stage 1 of Parramatta Light Rail is planned to open for passenger operation around mid-2024.
