The tram was brought back from the U.K. for the occasion of the tram museum's 40th anniversary and ran (once) on its own power on this route.

On one side of the crossing the occasional line 160 ended, on the other side the steam tram shuttled on the same track. The other track was used in both directions by the regular line 8.
