Because of Covid-19, the trams from De Panne are systematically exchanged in Ostend: passengers then have to transfer to a waiting tram. The driver brings this empty (and cleaned and disinfected) tram to the station, which will ensure the next service to Knokke. He will later take the other tram back to the depot so that it can be cleaned again.
