A special exhibition “Cottbus on Rails” will take place in the city museum from April to October 2024. The reason for the special exhibition is the “Superrail Year 2024”, which includes numerous large and small innovations and anniversaries. For over 160 years now, rails have brought not only goods but also people into the city. In the city itself they have been moving on rails for over 120 years. And for over 70 years, young Cottbus residents have been accompanying young and old from Sandow to Branitz — also on rails.
