08.04.2025	На 08.04.2025 г. започва дългоочакваният ремонт на бул. "Александър Стамболийски" между бул. "Константин Величков" и ул. "Западна". Последният ремонт на булеварда е извършен през 1985 г., като трамвайното трасе е изпълнено по панелна технология и в момента се намира в аварийно състояние. I етап от ремонта е от ул. "Булина ливада" до ул. "Западна". В участъка се спира трамвайното движение. Трамвайна линия 10 се пренасочва до гара "Захарна фабрика" (крайна спирка на трамвайна линия 3), като броят на колите по линията не се променя.
26.03.2025	От 26 март се възстановява движението на трамвайни линии № 21 и № 22 (от автостанция Изток до ж.к. "Красна поляна"). Временната трамвайна линия № 22А се закрива.
25.03.2025	Обявена е обществена поръчка за доставка на 40 броя нови нископодови климатизирани тролейбуси с дължина 18 m. Прогнозната стойност е 68 млн. лв., а срокът на доставка е 36 календарни месеца от сключване на договора. https://app.eop.bg/today/367349
22.02.2025	От 22.02.2025 г. се спира трамвайното движение по ул. "Илиянско шосе" заради изграждане на бул. "Рожен" от Северна скоростна тангента до надлез над ж.п. линия. – Трамвайна линия №11 ще се движи по маршрут от кв. "Княжево" до ж.к. "Връбница 1" (предходна временна крайна спирка на трамвайна линия №12). Броят на колите по линията се увеличава от 13 на 14. — Трамвайна линия №12 се съкращава от пл. "Журналист" до гара "София Север" (крайна спирка на трамвайна линия №27). Броят на колите се намалява от 6 на 4.
06.02.2025	На специална церемония в София бе даден старт на работата на тунелопробивната машина, т. нар. къртица, която през следващите две години ще изгражда тунела за разширението на третата линия на метрото през "Слатина".
