Chronology

25.12.2024	Tram route 2 (Munsu-Tosong) closes for conversion to trolleybus service. Trolleybuses with off-wire running replace former tram services until the new trolleybus overhead wires are completed.
11.11.2024	Yonggwang Station closes for renovations.
10.2024	Due to construction works for third stage of Hwasong area 10000 flats project, trolleybus route 9 (Ryonmotdong-Ryongsong) temporarily ceases operation.
09.2024	Puhung Station reopens; "Station" (formerly Thongil Station) renamed to Moranbong Station.
06.2024	Puhung and Hwanggumbol Stations are closed for renovations.
